Old Business

Website Report – Chad stated that the forum is on its way to being back up. It went down due to too many hits. Chad has received some suggestions about website and he is working on those.

Safety & Ed. Report – Dennis was at another meeting tonight.

Treasure Report – We will be about even when all the pool sessions are completed. Our balance is about where it should be prior to Canoe U.

Pool Sessions – Last one will be March 28. It will be a boat demo. Boats from Hoigards and Midwest Mountaineering.

New Business

Canoe U – about 7 participants sighed up so far. More promotion will start soon. Mike M. created a flyer.

Mike J. put a query out to see who all has boats available to rent out. He will continue to collect responses he gets.

Instructors are currently looking at some scheduling changes with the orientations day and first pool night. For updates check the RR website.

Mark is looking into music options.

CPR – instructors should check on when their cert. expires and look for re-nue options. Have a current CPR cert before teaching at Canoe U.

Dates to remember:

March 24: REI Kayak Awareness Night. There will be a variety of paddlers there including RR where we will promote Canoe U.

Sept. 19: Vermillion River Clean-up. Heather stated to mark your calendars. It is going to be FUN!

Midwest Expo: April 23,24,25.

MCA & Whitewater Park Booth will be there. Canoe U will be promoted.
